Lady Golden Bears Roar to Victory at Home over BSC

ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Golden Bears showed out at home Wednesday night, picking up a 72–55 win over Barber Scotia College inside the JW Martin Gymnasium! The victory evens Clinton College's record at 2–2 and keeps the energy high early in the season.

From start to finish, the Bears set the tone with hustle, defense, and rebounding dominance. Clinton crashed the glass all night long, owning a 58–39 advantage on the boards, including 22 offensive rebounds that fueled second-chance points and extra possessions.

Senior Jabrica Leslie was unstoppable — putting together a stat-stuffing performance with 20 points, 8 rebounds, 9 steals, and 5 assists. Her twin sister Shabrica Leslie came off the bench ready to work, posting a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double to give the Bears a huge boost.

Junior forward Alesha Canady added another huge night with 8 points and 10 rebounds, while freshman Ry'Naisha Barnes, Icesis Nwafor, and Zora Hill added grit and defense, combining for 8 steals and countless hustle plays.

Clinton's defense set the tone all night, forcing turnovers and limiting Barber Scotia to just 27% shooting from the field. On the other end, the Bears attacked the rim and took advantage at the stripe, knocking down 27-of-37 free throws (73%).
