The Golden Bears are excited to welcome rising junior Adaia Davis to the varsity program after her time with Clinton’s Junior Varsity team. A defensive specialist known for her high energy, positive mindset, and relentless work ethic, Adaia brings a level of enthusiasm and commitment that impacts those around her.

Adaia is the type of teammate who believes in getting better every day. Her dedication, willingness to work, and ability to encourage those around her have made her a valued member of the program. Her teammates recognize the energy she brings, often providing the extra push and positivity needed during challenging moments.

Adaia’s journey to Clinton is a story of perseverance. Coming from a small school where opportunities to continue playing volleyball were limited, she faced challenges finding a program that believed in her ability. After experiencing setbacks and moments where she questioned her path, Adaia continued to push forward and remained determined to pursue the sport she loves. That opportunity came when she was welcomed into the Clinton volleyball family.

“I chose Clinton because it made me feel like I was at home with family and friends,” Adaia shared.

What stood out to Adaia about Clinton was the sense of connection and belonging she found within the program. She appreciated how teammates and those around the program made her feel welcomed and supported from the beginning.

As she continues to grow as a player, Adaia’s goals are centered around consistency, communication, and confidence. She strives to continue improving her passing, defensive skills, and ability to stay engaged and positive through every situation on the court.

A natural leader, Adaia believes leadership is shown through encouragement, energy, and being present for others. She brings a contagious positivity to the team and believes that a smile, a supportive word, and a strong mindset can make a difference.

The coaching staff is excited for Adaia’s continued growth and the impact she will continue to make as an important part of the Golden Bears volleyball family.
