Tara Rajkovic, a 5’10” transfer outside hitter from Oakland City University, joins the Golden Bears bringing valuable experience, size, and versatility to the pin position. With experience competing at a high level in the NAIA, Tara understands the demands of a fast-tempo offense and will help continue elevating the speed and efficiency of Clinton’s attack on the outside. She brings a great understanding of shot selection, a crafty offensive mindset, and the ability to create opportunities against opposing defenses.

Tara’s journey to Clinton came during a challenging transition as her previous institution was closing, creating uncertainty about what her next step would look like. Through that process, the Clinton coaching staff provided support, encouragement, and an opportunity that allowed her to continue pursuing her passion for volleyball. From their first conversations, Tara was drawn to the positive and welcoming atmosphere created by the coaching staff and the genuine relationships being built within the program.

A player with a growth mindset, Tara is eager to continue developing both as an athlete and as a teammate. Her high energy, positivity, and commitment to those around her align with the culture being built within Clinton Volleyball. She believes in leading through encouragement, hard work, and example while using her faith and character to positively impact those around her.

Tara’s goals at Clinton are to continue growing as a player, teammate, and person while contributing to the continued success of the volleyball program. She is excited to compete at a high level, help build a winning culture, and make a lasting impact on the court and within the campus community. Academically, Tara plans to pursue her degree in Cybersecurity with the goal of continuing her education through a master’s program in the future.
